Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Upsticks uses, what they do, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between pages and visits (such as keeping you signed in) and help site owners understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in comparable ways; we refer to them all as “cookies” here.

Your choices

When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Essential cookies are always on, because the site cannot work properly without them. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

These are needed for the site and your account to work. They are not used for advertising.

  • Clerk authentication cookies: keep you signed in and protect your account and forms from abuse (for example __session and __client_uat).
  • Cookie-consent cookie: remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page.

Analytics (only with your consent)

These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They load only if you accept them.

  • Google Tag Manager: manages our analytics and measurement tags. Any analytics cookies it loads (for example Google Analytics) are set only after you consent, and are used in aggregate.

Third-party links

When you click a partner or affiliate link, you go to another company’s website, which may set its own cookies under its own policy. We do not control those cookies.

Exact cookie names and lifetimes vary by provider and version; the examples above are the typical ones.

Managing cookies

  • Use our cookie banner, or the cookie settings on the site, to accept, reject or change your preferences.
  • Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as signing in, from working.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the cookies we use change. The “last updated” date above shows the latest version.
